Town Hall, St Owen's Street, Hereford
Town Hall, St Owen's Street, Hereford
By Harry Cheers, 1902-04, a suitably jovial name for the author of such a jolly building. "Busy Jacobean Baroque" clad in Doulton's terracotta. The upper reaches are particularly eventful (SO5139 : Detail of Town Hall, St Owen's Street, Hereford). Grade II* listed.
Now largely used for ceremonial purposes and events.
