Town Walls, Youghal (1)

A 450m long stretch of the Town Walls survive here high above the SW side of the town, with part of the wall-walk accessible from the churchyard. Dating from 1275, they are the second longest surviving stretch of town walls in Ireland - the other being at Derry in Northern Ireland.
