Land on the moorland edge in the Sandy Brae area
The land on the east side of Sandy Brae comprises of both wetland and drier land. The better drained land has been improved to provide pasturage and crops of hay and silage. The wet land, a section of which can be seen in the foreground, is used for rough grazing. To the west of the lane the land remains in its natural state.
