Abbey road by Great Orme
Anyone who takes the scenic drive round Great Orme headland will end up at this point on Abbey Road.
This is also the starting point for two of the many pathways that criss-cross the headland.
On this particular July day, torrential storms had been forecast; the mountains of Snowdonia on the other side of the estuary had almost disappeared into thick, low cloud; which was accompanied by steady rumblings of thunder.
Anyone or anything still outdoors felt the full force of the storm.
