A small building, of ground and two upper floors, on the eastern side of Callender Street. Advertised for sale, the agents’ brochure (April 2014) includes the following description: “The subject currently comprises retail and offices extending to c. 6,887 sq ft over ground and upper floors plus a rear car park on a total site of c. 0.124 acres . . . . Full planning permission (ref: Z/2009/0673/F) was obtained on 13 August 2010 for the "Demolition of existing building and erection of five storey mixed use development comprising retail on ground and first floor with offices above". The planning permission provides for a total of c. 17,277 sq ft”. The photographs submitted by me appear as a matter of geographical and historical record only. I have no connection with any of the parties involved in the sale.
There is now the following planning permission (6 November 2015) “LA04/2015/0749/F Four storey extension to rear plus additional 3rd floor office space, internal alterations and renovations to front and rear facades to include new shop fronts. 4 and 6 Callender Street Belfast BT1 5BN”.
