SN8404 : Aberclwyd Lock

taken 7 years ago, near to Pentreclwydau, Neath Port Talbot/Castell-Nedd Port Talbot, Wales

Aberclwyd Lock
Aberclwyd Lock
Top end of Aberclwyd Lock on the Neath Canal. In the centre of the photograph can be seen a stone archway for the lock's bywash channel. This lock appears unusual in comparison with others on the canal in having the spillway and bywash channel on the towpath side of the canal.
