Rock outcrop, Streedagh Point
Rock outcrop, Streedagh Point
Streedagh Point runs out northwards towards the distant shores of Donegal, just visible in the distance. Flat-lying Carboniferous Limestone outcrop creates a wide tidal platform, probably implicated in the stranding nearby of three galleons of the defeated Spanish Armada.
