The lovely building on the left is the new Stoke-on-Trent City Centre Bus Station; opened in 2013. Costing £15m, and designed by the architects Grimshaw (who also designed the Eden Project in Cornwall), it replaced the 1970s bus station, which was said to be a contender for the grimmest building in the Midlands LinkExternal link
