First run in 1896, the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run is the longest-running motoring event in the world. The 54 mile route starts at Hyde Park in London and ends at Madeira Drive in Brighton, though the official finish is at Preston Park. The annual event is on the first Sunday of November.
