SO0833 : Capel Maes y Berllan

taken 6 years ago, near to Talachddu, Powys, Wales

Capel Maes y Berllan
Capel Maes y Berllan
A rather austere chapel, but quite in keeping with its Baptist congregation. The chapel is of ancient origin, having been rebuilt twice according to its dedication stone. It was founded in 1746, and rebuilt 1805 and 1835. The astonishingly high chimney seems to be a later addition.
