Gravestones, Maes-y-berllan Chapel
Gravestones, Maes-y-berllan Chapel
Gravestones in the burial ground are slowly being incorporated into the hedge, while others lean precariously. The memorials are carved beautifully from red-coloured sandstone slabs which are beginning to deteriorate (see also SO0833 : Deteriorating memorial). The view of the undulating countryside from this elevated position is delightful.
