SE1456 : A moorland patchwork
taken 6 years ago, near to West End, North Yorkshire, England
A moorland patchwork
A managed moor above the Washburn valley, where the different shades show the relative ages of the heather. In the distance are stone walls and improved grassland, whilst further away can be seen the line of bungalows along the Greenhow Hill Road at SE161587, a location which I have always considered to be rather draughty.
