Trim Castle Keep
One of the locations used for the film Braveheart, Trim Castle (Irish: Caisleán Bhaile Atha Troim), on the south bank of the River Boyne in Trim, County Meath, is the largest Norman castle in Ireland. It was built over a period of 30 years in the later part of the twelfth century. The castle has been open to the public since 2000.
