The Brynmor Jones Library, a red brick block of 1957-59, Neo-Georgian in spirit, by Forsyth & Partners.

Abutting the south-facing wall of the library is one of the 'iconic' K6 cast-iron telephone kiosks designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott in 1935. The boxes are without the royal crown and are cream-painted, being unique to the former Hull Corporation Telephone Department. Further information: LinkExternal link
