Grade I listed

The church dates from circa 1200 onwards, and consists of a western tower, nave with north and south aisles and clerestory windows, chancel, and south porch.

The tower is of two stages, with a broach spire. It was rebuilt in 1843, and fragments from the original were used.

The north arcade is of three bays and dates from the thirteenth and fourteenth century. It has octagonal piers with square bases and oak leaf capitals. The south arcade is from the fourteenth century and also has moulded capitals. The King post roof is from the nineteenth century.

The chancel has a north arcade creating a chapel, dating from around 1200 onwards, and has two octagonal piers. There is a fourteenth century piscina on the south side of the chancel and a square-headed priests door.
Above the chancel arch is a painting of the Royal arms dated 1721.
The reredos uses a fragment of 17th-century carved panelling.
The font dates from the thirteenth century, with a bowl from 1660.

There are several stained-glass windows in the church, including some from the twentieth century.

There is a two manual organ by Brindley and Foster from 1875, located on the north side of the chancel.
