The ebbing and flowing well
SD8065 : Ebbing and Flowing Well, Buck Haw Brow B6480, Giggleswick does ebb and flow. I have been visting it for the past few years and but only realised it ebbed and flowed when some very young children pointed it out to me! Clearly it is not a safe place to take children because of the road but they will be thrilled to observe the ebbing and flowing. Incidently the flow can be observed safely on the other side of the road to the well below by the golf course. This is the head of water which becomes Tems Beck in Giggleswick and flows across the golf course (or what was once Giggleswick Tarn). I have made a short video which ends with some speeded-up ebbing and flowing
