Scout Hill standing stone (2)
Scout Hill standing stone (2)
The enigmatic standing stone on one of the lower tops of the hill. It's hard to tell if it is a remnant of a quarried outcrop or anything of antiquarian interest. The maps show nothing. Across the Lune Valley a light dusting of snow covers Middleton Fell.
