Opened in 1854 by the Hull & Holderness railway, later part of the North Eastern Railway, on the line from Hull Victoria Docks (Hull Paragon from 1864) to Withernsea, this station closed to passengers in 1964 and completely in 1965.
View east towards Ottringham and Withernsea. Both platforms had gone when this image was taken, but the former station building was extant and had become a private residence.
