Opened in 1854 by the Hull & Holderness railway, later part of the North Eastern Railway, on the line from Hull Victoria Docks (Hull Paragon from 1864) to Withernsea, this station closed to passengers in 1964 and completely in 1968.
View east towards Hedon Racecourse Halt and Withernsea. One single platform was extant when this image was taken, and the former station building was used for industrial purposes. See LinkExternal link for more details.
