The disused part of Queen’s Quay, from the Queen’s Bridge, looking towards the Queen Elizabeth Bridge. The quay is of mainly timber construction. The 1918 street directory shows it occupied by the coal trade and the “Sailors' Institute and Irish Temperance League Coffee Stand - John Monahan, day manager”.
Queen’s Quay/Queen’s Bridge - proposed improvements

The old part of Queen’s Quay, between the Queen’s and Queen Elizabeth Bridges has been disused since the building of the latter back in the 60’s. There is now an application (10 January 2018) for the following planning permission “LA04/2018/0099/F Replacement Quay with ancillary works Queen's Quay Belfast BT3 9QQ”.
