Drumnevan Road - Dismantled Bridge
The bridge supports are evident, but the bridge itself is long gone, having been sold for scrap. This was the first evidence of a 'hidden' railway, its route completely ignored by OSNI. The original route belonged to the Great Northern Railway (Ireland) and was part of the old Portadown > Dungannon to Derry line, which traversed the WEST side of Lough Neagh. It closed in 1965.
