Cottages Valency Row - Boscastle
Cottages Valency Row - Boscastle
Originally thought to have been built circa 1680, the cottages once had a brewhouse and an adjoining pub, The Old Ship. They were also set back from the waterway to prevent flooding. The white dwelling on the left, Valency House, probably belonged to the successful merchant John Avery.
