Information Stone
Information Stone
Rather weather worn. It reads "This white house" was built about 1920 to replace the ruined blackhouse. It was last occupied in 1976. The name "white house" was given to buildings with lime-mortar as opposed to drystone walls. See NB3149 : Old White House
