See J3775 : Approaching Sydenham station and J3775 : Sydenham By-Pass (A2). The Sydenham bypass looking towards the city centre. The changes in the intervening 25 years include: the relaying of the railway, the replacement of a palisade railway fence by a concrete wall, different street lights and the demolition of the gasholder (above the second lamppost). At the time the Harbour Airport had recently opened and the right turn had still to receive traffic lights. The terminal has been re-sited.
The Sydenham bypass, Belfast

Approximately 2½ miles of dual carriageway forming part of the Belfast – Bangor Road. It runs from the end of the M3 to Tillysburn, parallel to the Belfast – Bangor railway and also serves the George Best Belfast City Airport. It replaced the Holywood Road as the main road to Holywood and Bangor. There are plans for major improvements at the junction with Dee Street.
