taken 16 years ago, near to Newton, Perth And Kinross, Scotland

Wade Bridge over the Lurg Burn
Wade Bridge over the Lurg Burn
The bridge was built by General Wade sometime after 1730. This is on the Wade road route from Crieff to Dalnacardoch. The Burn flows into the River Almond 300m upstream from Newton Bridge. Directly above the arch of the bridge the route of the old road can be seen flanked on either side by large stones.
