Homeli Knoll from Milldown Bay
Homeli Knoll from Milldown Bay
Originally spelt, 'Homeliknoll', it is a small knowe at the sea shore south of Coldingham Sands. It has the appearance of being artificial, being of an oblong shape and rising abruptly on all sides.

The knoll was once a location for the Small Blue Butterfly (Cupido minimus) whose caterpillars feed on kidney vetch but it has not been seen here for many years.
