taken 6 years ago, near to Trevellas, Cornwall, England

Greisenised Granite
Greisenised Granite
This is the whole of the remaining outcrop of the Cligga Head granite with its dark stripes of tungsten, tin and other minerals. The surrounding material has been removed by quarrying, leaving this standing in isolation. SW7353 : Granite with Greisen is the fac at the right-hand end of the rock.
