View towards the Cooley Mountains across the southern section of the Plain of Meigh
The village of Meigh is seen on the extreme left in the middle distance. Beyond, are the hills of the northern flank of the Cooleys, Anglesey Mountain, Clermont, and, with the masts on its summit, Clermont Carn. The rugged Slieve Foye is visible behind Clermont. The forest in the foreground is high up on the east facing slopes of Slieve Gullion.
