Ballinakill Abbey, Co. Galway (1)
This is the chapel that was added to the abbey in the C14, the burial place of the Mac David Burkes. On the inside of the south wall on the right is the South window with its fine tracery infilled in 1722 with a large inscribed monument to Sir John Burke. On the left is a fine limestone effigy of a Norman knight.
