Boats for both leisure pursuits and commercial fishing are moored in the Gremista Marina, close to the Textile museum, tucked into the west side of the widest bit of Bressay Sound. Within the Sound (almost directly behind the red car, just right of the centre of the photo) one of the smaller cruise ships to visit Lerwick is at anchor. The far horizon is the island of Bressay, with its prominent radio and television masts on Ward of Bressay, visible (and therefore providing good reception) from everywhere in the Lerwick area.
