Innishannon or Inishannon (Irish: Inis Eonáin), is a large village on the main Cork–Bandon road (N71) in County Cork. The village, which is situated on the River Bandon, has grown rapidly in recent years due to its proximity to Cork city and has now become a dormitory town for city workers.
