NJ3465 : Entrance to the ice house

taken 6 years ago, near to Spey Bay, Moray, Scotland

Entrance to the ice house
The stone with the date 1630 is deceptive. If I have remembered correctly what the guide said, the ice house was damaged by floods and was repaired using stones salvaged from other damaged buildings.
It actually dates from around the turn of the 19th century.
