Grade II Listed former Temperance Institute and shops. The building is on the site of a cabman’s shelter at the front and the town hall livery stables at the rear. Keighley Temperance Society bought the site in 1896 and the Trustees sold the building in 1982. It was reportedly converted into a cinema (The Regent) in 1920 and later used as a bingo hall. The London Gazette 1963 make reference to a business called 'Mavis Bonnett' a Ladies Hairdresser at 97 North Street Keighley. The building was abandoned for a number of years before being bought by the Wetherspoon pub chain and opened as The Livery Rooms in 2004.
