ST4801 : A hole in the wall

taken 6 years ago, near to Beaminster, Dorset, England

A hole in the wall
A hole in the wall
There is supposed to be a benchmark here (OS description: STEP W ANG BANK N SIDE NO 9 THE SQUARE), but in August 2018 thieves raided the ATM set in the wall. They failed to get any money, but it looks likely that they destroyed the benchmark. It gives new meaning to the expression, "hole in the wall".
