City of London: Billingsgate Market
This is the riverward elevation of the market, which was built between 1872 and 1873 to the designs of Sir Horace Jones, architect. There are numerous fish motifs in the decorative detail. It is a Grade II Listed Building. A whisky tasting was taking place at the time.
