86 Princess Street on the left is the Grade II listed LinkExternal link Manchester House once a packing and shipping warehouse built between 1906 and 1909.

On the right is the Grade II* listed LinkExternal link Asia House built between 1900 and 1910. It was converted to apartments in 2003. Outside is a Victorian postbox (M1 333) SJ8497 : Victorian postbox (M1 333).

In the background can be seen the clock tower of the former Refuge Assurance building now the Principal Hotel.
