The South-Western railtour is seen at the station, with 071 class locomotive No. 081 in charge. Behind the locomotive is a steam-generating van - a former BR Mk 1 carriage sold to Irish Rail in the early 1970s and fitted with a boiler to provide steam heating for the carriages as well as a diesel generator for power.
