taken 5 years ago, near to Dublin, Ireland

Railtour at Dublin Connolly
Railtour at Dublin Connolly
The Railway Preservation Society of Ireland ran its South-Western railtour on a wet and grey October Saturday. The route was from Dublin to Cork (the planned leg to Cobh being abandoned at that point because of its late arrival), and then back to Limerick on onwards along the Western Rail Corridor via Athenry and return to Dublin.

Here the tour is seen on its arrival back on platform 5 at Dublin Connolly station with 071 class locomotive No. 081 in charge.
