New planting in Swithland Wood
New planting in Swithland Wood
These slips look like either lime of alder, two of the prevalent species of tree in this ancient woodland. All well guarded against rabbits as well!
A 61ha remnant of the original Charnwood Forest, Swithland Wood is part of the Bradgate Estate and is managed by the Bradgate Park Trust.
