The Holywood Arches (sometimes just “The Arches”) is where the old Belfast & Co Down Railway to Donaghadee and Newcastle (closed 1950) crossed the Holywood Road (this photo) and the Upper Newtownards Road (out of picture to the right). The view is outwards towards Strandtown.
