The station buildings are on the right; that grey box sits on the platform. The ex North Staffordshire Railway ran this line from Stoke to Leekbrook Junction, then Leek or Cauldon Low Quarry. The line has been purchased by the Moorland and City Railways Co in 2009, prior to planned re-opening from Stoke to Leek and Cauldon. The eight mile section between Leekbrook and Cauldon is already in use.
