Swan of Wells
Swan of Wells
Located just outside Beah Restaurant close by the Union Street car park in Wells was one of the 60 Swans of Wells. These were a series of decorated sculptures of swans that were placed around Somerset to celebrate 60 years of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. They were displayed from June to September 2012 and then auctioned off to raise funds for local charities. This one was still on display some two years after the original event.
