The Fane Estuary from the R172 at Blackrock
The 63km long Fane River has its source in Lough Ross between Crossmaglen and Cullaville. It is the principal source of Dundalk's water supply despite the pollution resulting from discharges of the products of illegal diesel washing in the border areas.
