A grassed site close to Titanic Belfast. Now (February 2019) offered for sale. The agent’s description includes “The site is within the Titanic Quarter Phase II outline planning approval. Full planning was approved for 2 hotels (270 bedrooms), 152 apartments along with 12 commercial units and 382 basement car parking spaces Site area c. 1.77 acres 250 year ground lease, subject to peppercorn ground rent Offers invited for long-leasehold interest”.
The following planning permission (18 June 2011) applied “Z/2009/0530/F Proposed mixed use development comprising 152 no apartments, 2 no hotels, 1846 sq m of business (Class B1), retail (Class A1), 2164 sq m of restaruants, bars and cafes (sui generis), 332 sq m of health spa (sui generis), 196 sq m of financial, professional and other services (Class A2), basement car parking, landscaping and ancillary infrastructural works. Lands east of Victoria Channel and 120m west of the former Harland & Wolff Drawing Offices, Queen's Road, Queen's Island, Belfast”,
