If you look at this on the Ordnance Survey's 1:25K scale Explorer map, the track at right seems to be wider and hence the more major one, and there is no indication that the one on the left is gravelled. This, in my view, is an example of how the Explorer maps omit information that would be useful to walkers. In fact, the lefthand track is the major woodland access road, whilst that on the right is completely blocked by overgrown brambles.
