Bridge No 2, Staffordshire and Worcestershire canal, Stourport
Carrying Engine Lane over Lock 3 at Stourport, dating from the 1780s. The stone slope on the left carries excess water back into the Basin below. Water for the basins and canal does not come from the nearby Severn, although a tall white building in Engine Lane formerly housed a Boulton and Watt pumping engine which drew water from the river.
