Geograph - photograph every grid square

According to the Ordnance Survey (OS) maps for the area, the footpath that runs from the chevrons on Smeathorns Road to Sand Hill should go pass a wooded area that straddles Grid Squares NZ6611 and NZ6610. The centre of this wood is located at NZ 66832 11000 (roughly). In reality, there is no wooded area at this location. I am wondering whose responsibility it is to inform the OS of 'missing features' on their maps? Should the North York Moors Parks Authority do this? But then, maybe the Parks Authority does not know that the wood has gone.
