SO8171 : The Route to the North

taken 5 years ago, near to Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire, England

The Route to the North
The Route to the North
The Staffs and Worcs canal heading out of Stourport, seen from the path on disused GWR railway bridge. The railway basin leads off to the left - evidence of GWR ownership can be seen on the lawn in the form of broad gauge rail used as a fence post. The bridge in the distance is No 8 Upper Mitton. Beyond lies Kidderminster and all points North. Seen on a perfect Spring day.
