Village pinfold
The pinfold at Aldbrough St John doesn't make a very exciting subject for a photograph, but is interesting from a historical viewpoint as such enclosures were once common. The gateway into the pinfold is hidden behind the bush on the right, but was the bench there for animals to rest on whilst waiting to be released?
