Airman's Corner
Seen from the car park of the Stonehenge Visitor Centre is the cross roads formerly known as Airman's Cross. The name came from a memorial to two early flying casualties that was located at the cross roads. As part of the re-vamping of the visitor arrangements for Stonehenge, the memorial was moved and the crossroads renamed as Airman's Corner. See
SU1042 : Airman's Cross for an image of the memorial.
