taken 5 years ago, 3 km from Larkhill, Wiltshire, England

Airman's Corner
Airman's Corner
Seen from the car park of the Stonehenge Visitor Centre is the cross roads formerly known as Airman's Cross. The name came from a memorial to two early flying casualties that was located at the cross roads. As part of the re-vamping of the visitor arrangements for Stonehenge, the memorial was moved and the crossroads renamed as Airman's Corner. See SU1042 : Airman's Cross for an image of the memorial.
